Trust Administration involves transferring assets into a trust and managing trust assets as directed in the trust agreement.  Estate Administration, sometimes referred to as probate, is the process of gathering and managing assets of a deceased person as well as paying taxes, discharging debts and ultimately distributing the remaining assets to the heirs.
